We envision a brighter community where everyone has hope and opportunities. Through the Guardian Angel Initiative, expanding the influences and inspiring to more people and organisation to engage in sustainable social development and collectively create a future filled with care and warmth.

Our Background

The Guardian Angel Initiative (GAI) Program, launched by Mr. Cash Cheah on September 4, 2023, during the 13th-anniversary celebration of the Lions Club of Tropicana Kuala Lumpur, aims to bring about positive change within the community by fostering self-reliance and sustainability through innovative approaches to charity support and care.

At its core, the GAI Program subscribes to the philosophy of “teach a man to fish,” which emphasizes empowering communities for self-development and improving their quality of life in a lasting and meaningful way. Instead of merely providing shortterm relief, the program seeks to address the root causes of challenges faced by the community, thereby enabling them to become self-sufficient and self-reliant over time.

During launching, GAI forged significant partnerships by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Trinity Community Children Home and Canossa Kindergarten, setting the stage for meaningful interactions and mutual development. These partnerships have allowed us to make a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve.

Building on this foundation, GAI extended its reach by collaborating with various secondary schools and individuals with disabilities. Together, we embarked on environmental initiatives, such as cocoa trees plantation by Native, promoting environmental awareness, and demonstrating our commitment to sustainable practices.

Recognizing the global scope of our mission, GAI has also joined forces with international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to expand our influence and bring about positive change on a broader scale. This strategic collaboration allows us to tap into a wealth of resources, knowledge, and support to maximize the impact of our initiatives.

As part of our ongoing efforts to connect with a wider audience and showcase our commitment, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the GAI logo and website on September 2, 2024. This milestone represents a significant step forward in our journey, providing a platform to inspire, inform, and engage individuals who share our vision of a self-reliant, empowered, and sustainable community.
